Here's another vote for the Mirrcycle. I have one of the flat bar and one that slides on top of the brake handle on my road bike. Of the two, the flat one is more solid, but I like the road bike one's position better.
We have Mirrycles on our bikes. By far the best I have used, far better than Blackburn in my opinion.
Although Mirrycle has models that fit bar-ends, STIs, and old style brake hoods, you can get them to work even with drop bars that have bar end shifters, like so:
