Don't know the grade of Al in my chain rings either. The one that wore out was the large ring (52T) which is the one I use most often. It first developed skipping problems due to wear around 60 kmiles. At that point I flipped it over and used it for more than 30 kmiles at which point the chain again started to skip when accelerating. So the total was between 90 and 100 kmiles.
