Welcome to the Bike Forums.

Not knowing where you are from impedes opportunity to help very much. The bike is a Peugeot, model Super Sport, the second from top of the line in that model series. These sold, in Canada, for around $325.00 back in the early eighties.

Look through How Old Is My Bicycle?, paying closest attention to Component Numbers. Using the information offered, you can easily identify the vintage of your bicycle.

As for selling it and value, that will depend on many things, and you can learn about those factors that impact value by looking through Vintage Bicycle Value.

Good luck with the bicycle and, for what it is worth, those old Peugeots offered a decent ride quality, in my opinion.
