Well I can sort of walk now (with a bad limp because I cannot fully articulate my ankle yet) without any pain. Because of that and the fact that I have been riding my trainer for an hour a day for the past 4 days (at a high cadence), I decided that I would try to go out for a ride today. I planned on riding 10 miles if I was able to get started (I lead with my right foot from standing stops, and that's the one I sprained). I ended up riding 15 at a good pace (just shy of 17mph), including a couple of moderate climbs. The only pain I had was when riding over bumpy roads after the 10 mile mark. Other than that, it sure was nice to get my bike out of the basement and go for a ride. It was a little hot for my liking (92), but I got over it.
