I received a reply email from the gentleman at Bike Kitchen, Lincoln, Nebraska, this afternoon. Here is the complete email with their address if anyone wants to send a donation for the tool replacement:

It is a shame to be dealt such a blow, but we've been amazed and inspired by all the goodwill from so many people across the US. We are certainly learning from this experience, and hope to resume our work soon, better equipped than ever. Thanks so much.
