If it has a lower pivot bolt, it's probably a Euclid or a Centaur short cage. The Record OR has no lower pivot bolt.

For Euclid, take a look at the pictures here: http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.as...=108&AbsPos=35
The Euclid is 7-spd ('88-'91), the 1991 catalogue shows 3 versions.

Centaur was made in 7 and 8 speed. The 1990 and 1991 Campy catalogues show 3 different cages for the Centaur as well.
The 1993 catalogue mentions a medium and long one, both can handle 32T.
(I don't have a 1992 off road catalogue).
For a picture of a Centaur: http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=90971319-E934-4F56-AA75-72AE69624ECC&Enum=108&AbsPos=25

Here's a picture of the Centaur from the 1993 catalogue.

Euclid and Centaur look quite the same. So, give it a try!
