Sounds like a plan.
I am a campy guy, but a Tarmac with some nice carbon cranks, cnc brakes, ultegra derailleurs, and ultegra shifters would be pretty cool. Then you could throw the tiargra on a cheap nashbar frame and have solid second bike.
If I were you I would wait to see if 11spd ultegra pops up before you debate drivetrain upgrades.
