around 70 miles round trip...close enough to a century for me...most importantly, where to stop for post ride adult beverages?
that's the standard route, though i know a good long-cut in englewood that gets you off of the hairy part of 9W with no shoulder.

Also-- not riding on the Brooklyn Bridge. ever. you can add miles by heading into manhattan via the queensboro bridge and riding thru the park, and then heading back via the manhattan bridge (taking riverside down).

there's a good coffee shop in Nyack; can't remember the name but it's right in the center of town and SWARMING with bikes on nice weekend days. no need to bring a lock.

there's a few hills that are murder on a fixed-- state line, for sure, isn't the alps but is TOUGH. the bits getting from piermont to nyack, as well-- kinda blackout-painful at that point.

post-ride bevvies at Franklin Park! Not just because it's 2 blocks from my apartment, but because it's close to the park.

dates?
