Ti Paramount: Is this a carbon fork?

Hey guys,

All the specifications I can find say that my 1999 Schwinn Paramount Ti came with a carbon Time Club fork.

On my bike, the paint seems to tell me the fork is original and there is quite a few deep gashes in it.

I'm no expert, but it looks to be some kind of metal. It is nonmagnetic and has a grey sheen similar to other parts of the exposed titanium, no rust and there is no carbon weave or threads visible in even the deepest damage.

Could you experts please give me your opinion on what material this fork is?

I can put up higher res images if it would help.

Thank you so much!
