I was installing new cables and ferrule sunk inside. I cannot pull out the housing without pushing the ferrule out of the end of it.

it is probably is not a big deal. The disadvantage I have is that I cannot use my inline barrel adjuster. (For my cable tension adjustment I will use derailleur barrel for now)

I will leave it as it is for now, but when I have time I would like to re-do it.

My question is: what shifter housing ferrule will fit without sinking inside? Or is there any other way to prevent it from sinking?
