I too have Nokian Studded tires, now they are on a bike,
left as is between sub zeroC days.. springs run across the roads all year long,
the frozen stream can have your wheel go out from under you , quickly..

chef , it's not either or, but Both.. get that second helmet for the winter,

And in a year or 2 as all helmet materials age in time, get the airy feeling one.
