I had my dealer remove the in-line barrel adjusters when I switched from Ultegra to Campy Record in my Bianchi.
For the Bottecchia and Colnago builds I told the dealer to just go ahead and skip the in-line barrel adjusters.
To date I have not missed them. The RD barrel adjuster is sufficient for my purposes.
You really may not need the in-line barrel adjusters.
