The fixed cup came off clockwise, so it is Swiss.

Had another go with the pin spanner (Park), no dice. Used a propane torch on the inside of the cup, until the paint on the BB softened, then tried the pin spanner, again no dice. I will go to the hardware store and get the stuff for the Sheldon B. method. If that doesn't work, I will put a hacksaw blade through the cup and cut it out. I think I can do that without damaging the shell's threads, especially if I cut toward the stays where there isn't much thread anyway.

This frame is going to want the BB de-rusted, chased and faced.
