Moto Track fork upgrade

As alot of you know, the fork that comes on the Moto Track (which I have) is "Custom Drawn and Tapered" hi-ten steel - which I admit I wonder if they are just sugar coating the fact that it is plain 'ole hi-ten steel. Anyways, I'm wondering if I would feel a difference in a chromo fork, such as the Pake Tange straight blade fork as it seems priced well. The stock fork is written to be a 40mm rake and measures what looks like a 385mm axle to crown length. The Pake fork reads to be a 38mm rake and 383mm axle to crown length. I assume this would work ok? Would I feel a difference (hopefully for the better) in ride quality with this switch? Thanks.
