Thanks for the input guys. I agree that fit is the most important, because being uncomfortable isn't enjoyable and if you aren't enjoying it, why ride it? So I just want to make sure I find him one that is definitely his size and will work well. He was talking about getting one from Walmart but I thought we could find a WAY better quality bike used on CL.
