Just hint: Some states, like FL for instance, have laws about using noise to assault a cyclist or animal. And no, I'm not going to look it up for you.

Advice to anyone who gets tweaked about something so inconsequential, petty and trivial--Get a hobby today, and leave your house 10 minutes early tomorrow.
Might also want to consider driving a car, thats the vehicle more appropriate to that mindset

Bicyclists: Our own worst enemy.
This is just plain silly. Sarcasm is a poor substitute for genuine wit. That's cliche for a reason...it's true. And w/a beer salute at the end. What's that for? Congratulating one's self for a clinical display of shallow intellectualism in the form of using words like 'concisely' and 'inconsequential'? Gives one a chance to feel smug and superior, I suppose.

OP, get a Nite Rider Mi-Newt Cordless 600. Set it on the strobe setting when expecting the salmon to turn the corner and I think...eventually he'll get the message. Or stop him and let him know he's causing genuine danger to you and several other people, cyclists et all who use that particular MUP at that time in the morning. It's not that big a deal. He'll either respond well or not. Either way you've done your part. The rest is up to him.
