Bring those two frames here and let's go for a ride. I'm willing to bet that Kiwi chipseal will highlight the differences between your frames. I suspect your Socal mup paths are sufficiently smooth that the real differences between those frames is hidden. How rough is GMR? Caad 3 frames were notoriously stiff. So much so, that some reviewers and even Pro's complained about them being too stiff. But, Super Mario wouldn't have them any other way. I believe he continued to ride a Caad 3 even after the 4's were developed.
