I have 105 hubs on my old road racing bike, which has at various times served me for light touring, commuting and city riding, and working as a bike courier. THe rear has had the freehub body changed once or twice, and the cones were replaced with cheap replacements about 12 years ago. I have not ridden the bike much in the past 6 years or so, but last I checked the wheels the hubs were still smooth as glass.
