It had a broken spoke on each wheel and was pretty grubby but I think it probably bothered him to keep seeing it and know he could not ride it. I can sure understand that.
He seemed genuinely thrilled that I was going to give it an overhaul and put it to good use.
I ran into Al about a week ago. His eyes really lit up when I told him the bike was back in service and fits me like a glove.
