FWIW, I recently put a set a of 28mm Paselas on a bike and thought they were a pretty average ride. I also put a set of Challenge 27mm clinchers on a bike and was blown away by how much nicer they rode. I think the Pasela's get a lot of play in this forum because of the look and the price. They are ok tires, IMHO. When you try something better, you realize that they are just ok. The unfortunate part of tires is ,you don't really what you like until you pay for them and ride them. That is why I now have a coulpe of sets of 32mm Paselas hanging in the basement.
