I guess I should have quit when I was ahead, and yes, the entry levels models are the best and will do the job just fine -- unlike the HR based power meter. I think the IBike is probably the better "power estimator". At least it considers real-world inputs. But for the $600+ you'd spend on an IBike, you could have a "real" power meter such as a Wired Power Tap -- a true entry level model that does the job.
