All over my water bottle and then in my mouth when I take a drink. Yuck!

There weren't too many soft spots but there were a few. I had switched from Schwalbe Marathon Supremes to Duremes for this ride. 99% of the time the Supremes would have been fine, I think. But my guess is the bit more tread on the Duremes helped when the stuff got thick.
