If you're not aggressively racing square-cornered crits, then an un-rollable (and similarly
very hard-to-remove) sew-up tire is about as necessary as an AK-47 for killing mice. I've used one rather sparingly applied coat of cement applied to my rims since my racing days and never rolled a tire.
