If I had to complain about having to buy something after getting a new bike it wouldn't be a kickstand. It would be good wheels. A kick stand cost between 6 and 20 bucks good wheels are a lot more. But unless most consumers demand kick stands it is unlikely that bike companies will provide them for the minority. However I do realize there are a few that do need or want one and because this very topic has been run up the flag pole many times someone posted what to me would be a very good product for just about any kick stand fan or someone concerned with weight.
