Correct. I should have stated "I will care about the lack of ramps", as almost all after market rings I can find do not have them. It's just the shimano ones, and they come in very standard and limited sizes.


That being said, it seems to me like it would be easier to go to a 30/39/50 and replace the granny, since, if I'm understanding this correctly, that doesn't need any ramps.
