And yes, I prefer the heat and humidity to the refreshing subzero arctic air. I don't necessarily LIKE it, but I prefer it. :-) The logistics are so much easier--shorts, jersey, water. After all the winter miles, I still get a bit nervous every time I head out the door, wondering if clothing choices are right, roads are passable, hypothermia chances in case of a flat tire, feet staying warm, etc., etc.
