If your body can take rigid, the ride is wonderful. Since I have two full suspension mtb's though I've been considering converting it to hybrid duty.. and I think the triple triangle does indeed add noticeable stiffness so if your not up for being bumped on the trail, don't bother.

I have more then 8 rideables, those are just the ones that happened to be out. What kinda bikes you got?

I'd agree with you if we're talking more modern GT's, but the old steel/alum frames I think the stiffness thing stands true.
