Same here, and even at that hour there is too much traffic in the city for me to get on sidewalk & wait for every car.
I don't go out of my way to bike at night, but I do enjoy it. Problems include no access to transit if my bike craps out, sketchy people in the city, and the above mentioned drunks. If I have too, I have too, it's not a big deal. But not something I'd do just for fun.
