rainy day in the garage:

went through the wife's "Dutch" bike (Electra Amsterdam) and once again realized why i hate one of the local LBS's. things set up rather poorly and nothing greased. :/ luckily the Shimano Nexus 3 drivetrain seems pretty idiot proof, even to me.

started going through the '80 Raleigh Gran Sport. aside from needing cleaning/lubing everything seems good on it. someone took care of it. for $20 (+ brakepads/tubes/tires) i'll ride it as is until something breaks, then figure out whether i feel like going fixed with it....

taking a break with a lunch of carbonara and a Spanish garnacha, then back to w(r)enching....
