I picked up a Super Course a couple weeks ago. It was in decent shape, and completely original, but had a few problems. Wheels were shot. Original Brooks had a big rip in it. And the drive side crank had a buggered cotter, failed attempt at removal.

So over the last couple weeks I fixed it up. Removing the crank was a real task. But I got it off. Had a set of wheels from a "72 Motobecane Grand Touring that I have been saving for a bike like this.

Today I went for a 30 mile ride and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bike rides just great. I really like the handlebar bend. Fits me just right. Here it is:
