Had some gear changing issues recently. Figured it was the cables as they were overdue for replacement. Got back there and realized that the derailleur hanger was bent....

Wait, didn't my bike come with a spare hanger? YES!!!!!! Old hanger off, new one on, new cables, she's amazing once again.

The question now is, how can I properly straighten the original derailleur hanger? I put it in a vise and gently closed it, it looks straight. Upon closer inspection, it seems that part of the derailleur hanger that holds the derailleur, essentially the lower half of the hanger, is twisted, not just bent in.

Any ideas on how to get this straightened???
