Yeah, choose carefully based on the info on Surly's website regarding kickstands. I had my touring bike built with a kickstand plate, but when I found about the
click-stand, I decided to go for it. It takes a few seconds longer to get it out of the bag where I keep it and extend it compared to a regular kickstand, but it works great. Also, it won't compromise the frame in any way, it is incredibly light and will make your bike have a much cleaner look.
