I was out for about 5 months when I fractured my tibia and broke my fibula in an ATV accident. I would have been back up sooner, but it was a spiral fracture that went down into the ankle socket. Luckily a lot of my downtime was during the winter months.

Of coarse I'm not counting the 24 years I didn't ride once I received my drivers license.
