Like Zonatandem said, different brands are going to have different sounds. Chris King, White Ind., Dura-Ace, and Industry 9 are all noisy as heck.
I switched to a White Ind. "trials" freewheel on my SSCX bike this season, and it sounds like a nest of angry hornets.
Hahaha that sound alone would make me pedal faster out of sheer fear!
