Ionic used to be a small company based in Idaho, IIRC. They mostly built Ti and steel MTB frames, though I have a Ti road frame with MTB style features. They were acquired by Dean, then the name became just another brand to sell Dean frames. I put many thousands of miles on mine, including at least 10 double centuries, but recently discovered a crack in the down tube
