I chose Shamals when I built my Pinarello back in late 2000. Maybe not the lightest wheel but I noticed the aerodynamic differences immediately when compared to my former rider ('88 Pana DX-5000). They have been bomb-proof for nearly 12 years now over the rough roads in both northern Iowa as well as here in the Twin Cities. I love 'em and not once have I regretted choosing them for the Pinarello.
