Build Trek 8500 into Hybrid or buy a used hybrid?
I'm a noob who got a 2009 8500 frame from a friend pretty cheap (I think) a while back with the intention of building a MB with parts picked up on Craigslist. However, I don't think I'll really get into mountain biking and will likely just do more suburban road riding running errands and for recreation. I also intend on getting a seat for my two year old to sit in front of me at times (like the ibert seats or WeeRide Kangaroo). Is the 8500 a good choice for building into a hybrid, or should I sell the frame and buy a used hybrid since it will be easier? *edit* Titles
