Hopefully some confiscated stolen bicycles will make it back to their real owners in the next couple of weeks.

I just saw five Honolulu Police Department squad cars and HPD truck going through Ala Moana Park checking the bicycles the homeless had. They were loading the fifth bicycle into the truck while I watched them check the registration on another bicycle. It did not appear they arrested anyone.

That means some homeless folks may be shopping Honolulu neighborhoods for their new bicycle tonight and the next few.
