Bikes: Trek 1.5, Scwinn Sporterra comp, Cannondale Synapse carbon

Cross the 1.2 off the list. The carbon fork makes a huge difference in ride comfort. Don't know anything about the Fuji but you probably couldn't go wrong with the other two.
