These Cane Creek hoods were my best bet, I thought. But they have been a huge headache for the last hour.

First, I cannot get them over my adjuster bolts on my brake lever assembly. Now, I can't get the adjuster nob onto the bolts. So, with nothing holding the cable housing back, the brakes simply do not work.

Any suggestions?
