Good morning everyone! I'd really appreciate your advice/opinions on something I am considering...
I currently own a 2009 Trek Soho S 55cm single speed bike. It's in very good condition and has treated me well. Everything on it is stock, just as I bought it.
Although I am happy with the bike, I would like to start commuting and riding more, and would like to find a bike that has more aggressive geometry and would be better suited to this purpose. I am not fully satisfied with the Soho S' current frame geometry, I feel like I am a bit too upright and not really getting a good position for distance and power.
If I were to alter my Trek Soho S as it stands now, I would be buying drop bars, a new saddle, new pedals, and possibly more.
My question is:
Should I sell off the Trek Soho S and put that money towards a new bike (either a complete or build it up from scratch), or should I stick with the Trek and upgrade a bunch of stuff?
Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Jonathan
