What are the dropouts? Can you post some closeups of the Bianchi and model decals? The script model would indicate a '87 model (atleast here in the US) The frame is most likely a..... was this bike in a different Bianchi thread?

He thought it was a Bianchi Trofeo. According to the sales receipt, it was supposed to be a '84, but looking at the catalog scans on bulgier.net, it doesn't appear that Trofeos came into being until 1986 or so.

Serial number is: 6B on one side of BB and 10342 on the other. He said it was Columbus SL/SP, but he had it repainted, so it has the Columbus repaint decal on it (and apparently in the wrong place, at the bottom of the seat tube.) I never saw it before it was repainted, so dunno.

Any thoughts?
