Thank you for the input, I will put one in. Never thought I'd need one although on these particular frames the small 39mm cog is so close to the frames chainstay as to others are about 7-9mm apart. My gap is barely smaller than the size of the chain, that is how it got wedged and had to take apart the crank arms to take out the chain as other cyclists passed by lol
