I went to an army surplus store and bought one made of thick canvas with a drawstring and buckles instead of zippers. It held everything I carried in college then everything my brother carried in college and never needed repair, for $25. Now I prefer thrift stores, garage sales, craigslist, etc., so I'm not likely to spend that much again.
