Here's my first attempt at a chopper bike. It started when my daughter learned to ride a bike, and I figured I needed a bike too. So why not build one? It's 99 inches in length; brakes are Hayes hydraulic discs (hubs didn't have disc flanges, so I made them and brazed them on); 3 speeds; chain tensioner is "mid-mounted" to keep the rear wheel looking clean; hand laced rims with polished stainless spokes. Riding position is tolerable. One lesson learned about custom builds is that nothing ever fits. Every piece is a hurdle.
