I have an 8.5 mile each way route that I do several times a week for a regular meeting. Takes about 30-35 minutes. But that's with a very large number of red lights, some of which are major intersections near freeway on-ramps that take over a minute to turn green sometimes. I tend to glide through stop signs after looking, but try to obey the lights. Sometimes wonder what my time would be if I wasn't so civic minded.

Still, it's faster than driving and parking, or taking BART. It's nice to zip past a block of backed-up traffic during rush rush hour...
