My 2013 DS 8.3 has 2 water bottle mounts. One on the seat tube and one on the top side of the down tube. They eliminated the one on the underside because the cables run on that side. They did not eliminate the one on the seat tube.

My wife's 2012 8.2 has all 3 mounting points but her cables run underneath the top tube.
