My first road bike rebuild. $40 on Craigslist. Someone had turned it into a ghetto singlespeed, so no front or rear derailleur, small chainring, or shifters. The handlebars were bent and the rear wheel was chewed up. Frame, fork headset and hubs are original. Everything else is (I hope) as good as or an upgrade of the original equipment. I learned a lot with this bike (I hadn't even wrapped a set of handlebars before) and am pretty excited to get it on the road. I relied on this forum's archives pretty heavily, so I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to share your knowledge- it's invaluable to newbs like me.
