I would actually be really sad if this were the case for me. 80% of my bike time/exercise is my commute. I applied for a job that would halve my commute and that will be one thing I'm sad about if I get it.
I sometimes take a detour on the way home because of this.
And I have all my Strava routes marked as private (I just use it as a personal ride diary), so so much for the competitiveness.
