As far as purpose, I'm looking for a daily commuter. Currently I ride an early 90s C'Dale mtn. bike that is waaayy.. too small for me and I'm tired of being uncomfortable. I like old things and I'm an incurable tinkerer which is why I'm drawn to something like this.

On the other hand, I'm concerned about this being my only bike for quite a while and am wondering if I'll be better off getting something new as my daily and then start picking up things to play with
